Shed those pounds – and inches too
Weight loss is the common goal among all who come to us at our studio in Churchtown, Dublin 14 and our second facility in Little Island, Cork. For some, it is the number one priority. For others, they see it as secondary to improving overall fitness, but still want to lose a few pounds. Whichever category you fall into, we will get you there.
We do it through a combination of a tailor-made personal training plan, and provision of expert nutritional advice, including recipe ideas, shopping lists, and suggestions for alternatives to those treats you know you should cut back on.
SMART weight loss
Our weight loss programmes are all designed in line with our SMART philosophy (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Timeframe).
With us, it won’t be ‘I want to lose some weight’. That’s too vague.
Instead, it will be along the lines of:
- “I want to lose a stone in the next three months” or,
- “I want to drop a dress size before a wedding in four weeks” or,
- “I’m 13 stone now and I want to get back to 12 stone before my holidays”.
They’re all specific, measurable, achievable, and realistic targets, and all with a specified time in which to achieve them.
Both semi-private and group members can avail of regular consultations and assessments with our staff to measure how far they’ve come, and to adapt their personal plan, if necessary, to increase the probability of meeting their target on time.
